maybe you could have some may flowers already cut out of wool felt for the kids
and then you could have some bugs and butterflies cut out of wool for the kids to glue to the flowers (if you want glue and toddlers in teh mix! LOL
Maybe have some bean bags and a little wooden box with a hole in the top (decorated of course) for the little ones to take turns trying ot throw their bean bags into the box, or maybe multiple boxes (one for each kid)
2 year olds are so entertained with other people that I really dont' think you need to do much of anything, just let them play and serve some cake!

Bubbles!
I did a buble themed party for my ds's 2nd birthday. I got this thing that blew 6ft bubbles and gave all the kids different bubble maker, the only mistake was to set the tub of bubbles on the grass, the grass recovered just time for the next birthday.Sarah

Hello,
We just celebrated the big two here in Miami, so congatulations to you. The big hit of the party this year, was a medium size plastic swimming pool filled with medium sized plastic balls. You can do this both in or outside. We're in an apartment on the beach and opted for inside, because the sun is just way too strong in Miami Beach. The kidz loved it. They were jumping in and out all day. It was a crowd pleaser for all ages, from 15 months to 6 years.
Good luck and enjoy.
