I just went shopping at Kroger for breastmilk storage bags and nursing pads. After paying I got one of those nice little printed out coupons from the store. Save $5.00 on any size of powdered Enfamil. Bigger then life was a pic of a cute smiling babe with the words in bold colorMPROVES EYE DEVELOPMENT. THE ONLY BRAND SHOWN IN PUBLISHED INDEPENDENT CLINICAL STUDIES TO IMPROVE EYE DEVELOPMENT-OVER ONE LINE BETTER VISION ON A STANDARD EYE CHART. WTF??!! This is just too much, honestly! It's just sad to think that people who don't know any better buy into this crap!

I also have been wondering what to do about this. I bought some sposies (for the first time ever...) and got formula coupons -- exactly like those, I think. And I was really mad. I guess that by buying baby stuff you get related coupons... but I really hate that marketing technique. I'm also wondering if my "club card" got tagged because I've gotten formula coupons the past several times I shopped now... without buying any baby related items. What should we do? It would be difficult to boycott because I live in a rural area without much choice in groceries. But, I don't even know what I'd say in a letter to the company....
Any ideas?
