my DD is using earlybird math from singapore right now and we plan on continuing with it. she also really loves working on the computer (on-line and CD-ROM.) has anyone used the CD-ROMs for Primary Math? are they worth purchasing? thanks in advance.

They aren't new-- we bought them 2-3 years ago. The computer graphics aren't going to blow you away, but they're cute and my kids enjoyed them. A word of warning-- because these are older programs, they may not work on a brand-spanking new computer, and they are PC only.
I especially like the way the first cd-rom demonstrates place value, and the way the second one teaches fractions.
Check the rainbowresource.com website to be sure your pc is running the right operating system before ordering. Aside from the technical issues, these are well done, and I recommend them.

on a newer system, instead of double clicking to open the program; you RIGHT click and then pick "run as" and then choose an older version of windows.
