Buisness of Being Born/netflix

Just wanted to let any one interested know, that Netflix instants movies has Just added the Buisness of being Born to their documentary selection. It is now part of that instant movie selection that you watch on your computer.

I was very excited about it.

I rewatched it yesterday and this morning tried to watch 'Childbirth from the Inside Out' for contrast but couldn't make it past 2 minutes.

Ugh, I wish I could do the instant watch. . .but it won't let me since I am not in the US. I have the movie in my queue though, just need to return some movies so I can get it!! I'm so excited to see it.

I just got it from Netflix and watched it last night! Wow! I think they did an awesome job on this. I would have liked if they added some advice to help women who do have to labor in the hospital have natural births (making sure you find a good midwife and doula). I also wish they added the conversation to the movie between Abby & Ricki that was added to the special features. Abby had some really good points on what is lost having a c-section. But overall - amazing. They do a great job of putting all the information out there and showing how so many women don't realize what they are giving up. It demystifies homebirth a lot. My homebirth was possibly the most amazing memory of my life and I often have a hard time explaining "why" to women that have no desire to experience it.

I've had this in my netflix queue for awhile, and when it was released it went from being a short wait, to a long wait, to a now very long wait. It's good though. I've already seen it once and I'm glad so many other people are apparently wanting to see it!

I just can't wait for DH to see it. I came home from the screening I went to just talking nonstop!
