She removed the interference today and I should be having this baby tomorrow or this weekend at the latest . Um thank you, I know others it has worked for, but I doubt one of them will be me. Of course I am not adverse to trying anything to get baby out even a bit earlier. I am eating fresh pinapple tonight and DH will be a happy fella tomorrow. I walked a fair amount in the last 2 days too. SO we shall see.

I'm curious too. What is that?

I'm also wondering about the fresh pineapple. Does it help get labor started? I've never heard of that. I ate tons of fresh pineapple with DD1 just because I craved it throughout my entire pregnancy but she was two days "late".

I hope things get started for you real soon!

as far as i know something in fresh pineapple (can't remeber the name) can help your cervix soften quicker thus in theory bringing on labor/makeing you dilate quicker, but from what i've read you need to eat several whole pineapples includeing the middle. i ate 2 whole pineapples the wk end before my dd caitlin was born but its probebly just coincerdence (sp)

Not sure what she meant by interference, but I do know of an adjustment or 2 that can help labour come. My chiro is french so "interference" is teh translation from my DH . LOL. I am still here and still very much pregnant. LOL Baby did shift around alot last night though.

I don't have any cites right now, but chiropractic - specifically Webster technique - can help the baby get into the right position and has been shown to lead to both shorter labors (even in FTMs) and success in flipping babies (from breech to vertex).

I'm a tried & true skeptic, but the chiro I've been seeing (certified in Webster technique) has definitely helped my SPD and when the baby's been posterior, after an adjustment I can usually feel the baby move back to anterior. So I've been tentatively converted.
