Gender questions....

What would you prefer? Boy or girl?

Boy

Will you be asking your babies sex if you are having scans?

I really don't know, I have never asked before but am tempted this time.

Do you have any 'feelings' about what sex the baby is?

Totallyy different symptoms compared to usual so maybe a boy.

Have you checked out gender guessers and what have you come up with so far?

Yes, 50% say girl, 50% say boy lol (ok, so I have only tried 2 lol).

I am hoping for another boy. My symptoms are completely different than last time, though (although I'm not putting much stock in the "different symptoms for different sexes" theory). I'm not sure if I'm having an ultrasound or not, but they won't tell you in my province unless you go for a specialty 3D scan, which I won't be doing. So either way I will be waiting until the birth!

I sort of secretly want another girl. But really I don't care at all. I don't think I'll find out the sex this time, but I did with my other two. Dh wants another boy.

I would be happy with another girl, but one of each would be fine to, but then i have to worry about someone moving downstairs eventually.

we haven't decide if we will get a u/s or if we do if we will find out gender, we didn't for our daughter. i am torn

I think it is a girl despite the last of severe ms i had from 7dpo with DD.

gender prediction- chinese says boy, but i think it said boy for DD as well. only one i have done so far.

I would love a girl this time but I will be just as happy with another boy. We don't plan to find out this time unless we're expecting twins, and then we only want to know--if they happen to be fraternal--if they are the same gender or not. Obviously if they are not the same gender we will know what we have, but otherwise we will wait until birth.

I really, truly do not have a preference. I *feel* like it's a boy, though. We will not be finding out the sex before the birth.
Either one would be fine. I have pros and cons for both so it really doesn't matter.

The old ring-over-wrist test said I would have a G-B-B and it's been right for the first two...

My girl v. boy pregnancies so far were really, really different so it will be interesting to see how this one goes. No real symptoms yet, so we'll see!

It's not so much that I would prefer a girl, but that I would just be completely shocked if it's not a girl. I have known for years I would have a minimum of three kids, girl-boy-girl.

And so far, this does seem more similar to my pregnancy with my daughter than my son, but I don't know how much that can really predict. We won't be having any ultrasounds, so no opportunity to check... even if we did, we likely would not check.

The only 'gender guesser' thing I have looked at it is one of those Chinese conception calendars, and it said boy... but I am pretty sure it said ds should have been a girl.

I already have 2 girls. I'd have no idea what to do with a boy! But my first nephew is due any day now, so a boy cousin for him this close in age would be nice. So I'm leaning toward girl, but I just want a healthy one!

We will totally ask what the baby is at the ultrasound. I knew with both of my girls and I'd never do it differently. I am a planner and I like to plan things like clothing and such.

I don't have any "feelings" about the gender, but when hubby and I were talking about names for DD#2, we got fixed on girl names and had lousy boy names. Last night we were talking names and could only think of boy names.

I haven't looked at any gender guessers. They all said boy for both of my kids and both kids were girls, lol

What's gender guesser?

I did the Chines Gender Prediction thingy, and it said BOY!

DH and I really want a boy, but obviously a HH baby is all we need

Everytime I ask Bella, she says its a "sissssssssstah"....maybe because she can't say brother yet

I know how weird and negative this sounds, but I think I'll be a little disappointed either way. (That's why we're going to find out the sex ahead of time, unlike last time; so I can adjust to whatever it is!)

If it's a girl, I'll be disappointed that I'll never know what it's like to have a boy. (This is our second and last baby.)

If it's a boy, I will be not so much disappointed as FREAKED OUT! What the heck do you do with a boy! Penises are weird! etc. etc.

(Rolls eyes at her own self )

Ha ha ha ha ha! I know EXACTLY how you feel. It's not weird at all. I have two girls and don't know if DH will be up for more babies after this one. But yeah. Boys are like aliens to me.

The Chinese Gender Predictor was correct for both of my kidos so for this one it's saying Girl. So I'm going with Girl for now. We didn't find out with the other two and dh doesn't want to find out with this one either. I kind of do but we probably won't. It really doesn't matter to me. Another boy close in age to ds would be awesome but for now, girl it is

There are 9 kids here on the farm - 7 boys and 2 girls. The girls are 14 and 5. I really want a girl to even out the kid gender balance a little bit.

I have two boys and I'm hoping this one is a boy as well. I can't imagine having a girl in the house besides me of course. Even our dogs are boys.

I'm not looking forward to the comments from people..."So you're trying for that girl, huh?" No, we were trying for a baby and actually I'd like it to be another boy.

My feeling is that it is a boy.

Don't know if we'll find out yet or if we'll have a scan.

I really don't care. I was 100% convinced that my son was a girl throughout my whole pregnancy so I don't think that my intuition is spot on either. I won't be finding out.
either gender is fine, I don't really have an opinion although after 3 girls I automatically think girl. Daddy & the 3 older kiddos all want boy and the little one wants a girl. We have our talks about how it's not up to us and we will love whatever it is....it will be so interesting to see the reactions at birth. We will not be finding out before opening day!
btw, chinese predictors say boy and it has been correct 2 out of 3 times for us! Last time a friendly postman said it was a girl and he was right, he had 5 children of his own and said he was right with everyone of them and just has a gift of knowing what babies are. He has since retired darnit!

I'm inclined to not find out in advance. My husband likened that to months on end of being a kid on Xmas eve, squirming in bed with the anticipation of opening all of the presents under the tree, yearning to just take a leeeeeetle peek.

All my life, my visions of myself as a mother focused on me having a daughter. Somehow, though, I feel like this is a boy. I'm not sure where that's coming from--I don't have any clear rationale--I just feel like it's a boy.
