I just returned from my appointment with the first doctor that I was going to talk to about assisting with a vba2c. I was sure that he wouldn't be supportive, but he was! He actually made me feel very comfortable. He is a family practice doctor here in our small town, and there was only one other option for me, so I feel very lucky.
He just said that it was most important to him that his patients understand risks and benefits, and then make their own decisions. He also understood why I did not want to have a third cesarean, and he said that my other two cesareans were for reasons that will most likely not repeat.
He actually seemed so laid back about it that I almost wonder if it's too good to be true! But I'm just happy that I found someone so quickly that I didn't have to fight with at all.

we're switching to a new family doc and I didn't even think of using him in terms of pregnancy/birth assistance. I was worried my only choice for future births would be UC and while an option, I'm just not there yet. Good Luck with the laid back doc!
