Lets be frank... I have little $$.

I can sew, but right now I have no fabric...

What is the cheepest place you know to get mama cloth?

TIA!

The cloth pads are usually made with knit cotton, right? (I'm a Diva cup girl myself, I've never used cloth pads so correct me if I'm wrong.)

I'd go to your local thrift store and get some 100% cotton t-shirts. Think men's XXXL, the more fabric the better. Cut them up and sew your pads.

I could give you some French Terry and some Pul. Let me know if you're interested.

A lot of mama pads are made with flannel. You could try to get your hands on someone's cast off flannel baby blankets, maybe through Freecycle?

TLC are pretty inexpensive. Also, if you get the sample pack (free shipping) homemade mama isn't too bad, pricewise (and I LOVE her pads)

If you buy a couple, you might be inspired to make some of your own.

I just went through a stack of old flannel recieving blankets and made some pads Why I had about 50 recieving blankets is beyond me.

A while ago I went through my closet and threw some old clothes in a big bag to get rid of them but I'm glad I didn't. That old shirt, skirt, etc. came in handy for family cloth

I bought used fabric for mama pads once.

I found a 100% cotton flannel sheet and made most of the pads from that. I also found a nice towell, which I used to make the really absorbent core to those pads AND a couple of wrap-n-secure turban style things for wet hair.
