So how many of us are sporting maternity wear? - Page 2

So glad I'm not the only one. Last time I had similar issues, found myself in maternity pants REALLY fast for much the same reason. Lots of pre-pregnancy weight gain + hating things on my tummy= early maternity pants. I just wanna be comfy.

I'm wearing a couple maternity tops that are like big t-shirts... just because it's more comfortable than having something tight on my tummy right now. No maternity pants, just loose fitting jeans n'stuff.

Whoops, double post!

I am sporting the BellaBand over my jeans, and I wear maternity pants when I work (p/t in the evenings - the evening bloat almost requires the mat. pants)
I wear yoga pants most days
I am still wearing most of my reg. shirts, though, just the smalls, not extra smalls.

All my normal shirts fit fine but I've been in mat jeans since week 6 or 7. I can't figure it out though, I've lost 12 pounds but my stomach pretty much got huge immediately, and this is my first! Like one of the previous posters said, there are nights when I feel things stretching and then I wake up in the morning and BOOM, visibly bigger. It's amazing. I can't WAIT for spring so I can wear cute mat dresses and just have nothing at all around my stomach, it's going to feel soooooo good.

Not in maternity clothes yet but some of my jeans are getting uncomfortable and I just prefer to wear looser clothing right now. Might have DH get the box of maternity clothes down from the loft tonight though, I can't even remember what all I've got in there! Of course, I'll be huge in a completely opposite season this time so will have to buy new stuff anyway but some of the stuff might do for now.

Dp has a nice maternity shirt she wears to church. My mom also bought her some shorts for summer and a top. Just yesterday she told me to favorite scrub bottoms dont fit so I am sure she will be needing more outfits pretty soon!! Its so cute to see her lil tummy starting to bulge!!!

I have a pair of x-small maternity jeans I wear, and some 1st trimester cargos I wear. Other than that, my regular jeans still fit with the bella band or an elastic, but aren't as comfortable. If I'm just at home, I wear sweats or yoga pants.

I've worn a couple of extra-small maternity shirts that wouldn't fit later on. Most of my regular shirts still fit though. At this point the mat. clothes is more for comfort then because I need them.

My jeans haven't fit in weeks, and my work pants are getting a bit uncomfortable when I sit down (they had more room to start with anyways). I went out a few weeks back and got some elastic top work pants that should fit throughout the pregnancy, if I don't burn them first. I hate the fabric, but they were the only ones at Lane Bryant in my size...I've got some yoga pants, but with the business casual dress code at work, I can't wear them. Hopefully, I can find some nice yoga pants that look like work pants.
I found some nice tops with the empire waist maternity look at Lane Bryant - and they're not maternity tops. Plus, the front has buttons to the empire waistline, so I can nurse or pump without having to haul the girls up and over a collar!

I wish they made nice maternity clothes for us plus size mamas...most of what I've seen I wouldn't be caught dead in...

I have been in maternity clothes since about 5-6 weeks. I am 13 weeks now and I have a pretty big belly right now (like I was at 6 months with my first). This is my 4th pregnancy so I think it is pretty common.

I have some maternity pants that are pretty much normal pants with elastic waists, and those I've broken out. This time around I'm happy to have a lot more of the "middle stage" type clothes. My belly was still so big after giving birth to twins that I had to get some clothes to accomodate it. Bleh, even with clothes that work I hate this middle stage. Here's wishing us all cute little baby bumps soon! * Jaime

I wore a maternity shirt my best friend gave me yesterday, because I didn't have any other clean laundry!

only 10 weeks along so...

i have one pair of jeans that still fits fairly comfortably around the belly, a few yoga pants, and a lot of empire waist style tops so i haven't dipped into my maternity shirts yet. i know from last time that i was SO tired of wearing maternity clothes but had to wear them even after i delivered, so i'm in no rush this time. after we tell everyone at 12 weeks (2 more weeks to go!), i have a couple small tops i'm going to start wearing, because they're not going to fit for very long. lately, to go out, since only family members know we're expecting, i wear sweatshirts b/c i think people are getting suspicious!

My stretch jeans don't fit most days, but my new maternity pants are too big. I've had to wear them a few times and I have to walk around clutching the waistband. I'm trying to stick to dresses until things even out a bit.

Here's a good tip for you ladies, I got great deals today! I went to the JCPenney Outlet and found a bunch of maternity pants for $10.00 each! Oh and they carried s-4x.

Also Sears was clearancing out their s-3x sizes 30%-75% off. Burlington Coat Factory had some good options too size s-xl.

I'll be checking JCPenney Outlet regularly!!

I checked out their online page and I purchased this for only $19.99!

It's my first baby and I still fit in everything. I look bloated, like I did right before my periods. I lost some weight from lots of morning sickness and my rear end shrunk so that's given me a little more room for the bloating Part of me is eager to "show" and get into maternity clothes... part of me loves my jeans.

How'd you get it for $19.99? Mine says it's $79.99... which is A LOT more than you paid.

Oh ok. Well, I'm getting most of my maternity clothes at second hand stores for mothers in the area. I did find out that there's this great place, it's the neighborhood pregnancy resource center. And basically, they do classes and stuff for low income women... no specific income levels though. They meet once a month with their "pickles and ice cream" group where they talk about their pregnancies and stuff... and it was just cool to see a bunch of other pregnant women like myself. Two of them were actually less far along than me. One was 10 weeks, and the other was something less than 10 weeks... not sure how far, i didn't hear exactly. They also give out "baby bucks" every time you come to a meeting or class. They gave us each 15 baby bucks. I mostly just need clothes right now, so that's what I shopped for. I found two pairs of pants that ACTUALLY FIT WELL. It was amazing!! I've had so much trouble finding pants with my super long legs. Ok, they're not super long... just longer than average. I also found a couple tops I really liked. So, yay! I still have 11 baby bucks left, plus i'll get more next time I come. I can also stop by any time and see if they have anything new. They always get new stuff in. It's all stuff that was donated, and some of it is really nice! They had clothes that I swear looked brand new. Pretty awesome.
