you're a good mama......i've missed you!

Thanks, sweetie. I`ve missed you, too. (The other board has been so, so quiet. I thought people had fallen off the face of the earth. )

I`ve never tried RR. But friend of mine has lots of knowledge when it comes to Bach Remedies, and she has given him e big bottle of something that he takes every day. It`s several different flowermedicines put together. All of them helps for different sorts of anxiety/fear etc.

Yoga is a very good idea, actually. He NEEDS to lear to relax, cause when he is panicking I just can`t seem to get thru to him AT ALL. I try soooooo hard to help him relax, breathe etc to stop the panick, but he just screams at me and tries to hit if I get to close. I am reading a book about anxiety, and was actually going to start reading the chapters on relaxation tonight.

Thanks for caring.

Do you make anything else, or will the store consist of "only" gnomes? Cause if it will be a "gnome store", then you could call it something like that: The Little Gnome Shop" or something similar.
well at first probably just gnomes. I have lots of free patterns for play food as well and I've done customs for them before(mostly fruit and veggies so far). gnomes are much easier and less involved so I've been concentrating on those for quick money. but I may delve into more knit toys too once the money issues are solved.

Justmama, So cute! I love the little slings you have on some of them. How about "Gnome Sweet Gnome"?

Asianyoushi, I'd be so pissed about the tires! Tires are so expensive! Hopefully insurance will cover it.

For the gardeners, any idea when I should start planting? I'm in So. NH. I have absolutely no clue. This is my first garden.

such a cute idea!!!! I love it! I'm no gardener but I'm wondering the same thing. I kill EVERYTHING I touch. I really want to try to have a great garden this year totally in containers on the deck. Maybe you can start now in containers inside with seeds and just force them up and take outside later???? I'm in RI so it's a tad warmer here but not much.

i am pissed called three tire places- 1 wants 174 per tire, the next was 125 per tire and the last place was 110. so dh is gonna HAVE to work tonight to pay for this.. i dont know if he talked with insurance or not- i cant because my name isnt on the policy since i dont drive... he has to take care of it. when he came home i told him bout the guy they tried to break down our door... hubby's solution- pull out all his guns and said" pick one" u will sleep with a gun next to ur head just in case he comes back...... ummmm yea thats not gonna fly since the only gun i personally have shot out of his "collection" is the worst with amount of crap u have to do befor u can actually pull the trigger...... so now dh is having one of his police buddies "baby sit " the kids and me tonight just incase the dude comes back.....

try asking if any of the tire places have "knockoffs" These are new tires that we on a car, and the new owner didn't like, etc. Normally go for about half price - look for little tire shops to find them mostly.

i called asking for both prices of new and "used" tires and all of them said they dont carry used tires.. i know this is bull crap because my dad has in the past brought "used" tires since he espeically cant afford new ones.. i am gonna ask hubby if he wants me to call more places tonight or not... i need to go clean house but i dont want too. can some one come over here and kick me off the computer so i can clean. i also need to pull car seats out of the car just incase dh's buddy needs to take us some place......(dont really know what dh meant by that. but um okay...)

justmama those gnomies are frikkin adorable.

I'd write more but to be honest I'm struggling to breathe under the enormous, crushing weight of continual stress and grief. Life seems so unfair sometimes.

Also, I think my bf is about to break up with me. :

I came home Wed. nite to find out that our babysitter's dog had bitten/scratched my son on his face thus requiring 4 stitches. I feel so lucky though because a couple of inches up he proably would of gotten the eye.

I know the dog isn't mean he's just a huge dog that thinks he's a small dog and he proably got over excited.

My dh starts a new job on Monday, so we are now having to spend some money on clothes since its an office type setting.

I am thinking of buying an editing system since the company I used to work for is now looking up financially. But he's moving to OH, originally he wanted me to fly out there 2x a month but I nixed that idea quickly. So now since I'd be working for them 5-6 months out of the year, it'd be nice to have my own stuff and then be able to take side jobs in the rest of the year.

It would be so nice to work from home and not have to pay for a babysitter anymore. I don't want to force it though if it's not meant to be, so I am just leaving it and if it's meant to be I figure it will all work out.

Justmama: I love your little gnomes.I only wish I could create things like that.

Aurakitten: I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling

Finally sold something out of my garage tonight - a 5 piece bedroom set for $100! Not too shabby since I bought it at a storage unit auction, and I still have a bunch of items from the same unit to sell. Only cost me around $50, including the labor to get the stuff out of the unit.

So I'm happy! They came to pick it up a little while ago, and now I can move a little in my garage again.

*hugs* to everyone - I'm hurting too much with my back to write out proper replies to everyone but I'm thinking of all of you.

okay have to say it- I HATE DH'S FRIEND. sure he took us out to dinner but that was the "best" part of the whole freakin thing. he stayed up all night chatting on his phone, coming and going in and out of the house. if i wasnt a light sleeper because of what happen two nights ago i am now.. and the dude had to be "up" and leave our place befor 6 from 4 am -to 5:45 his phone- with the most annoying ringtones kept going off..( we didnt get home from dinner til 10:30ish- ashlyn fell asleep as soon as we got home and alex stayed up and fought with me for an hour.) arhhhh im tired. and because the dude is anti "home buddy" i couldnt run out and get my wic stuff like i planned-( last night was suppose to go like this- he would come over with pizzas at or befor 8 and we stayed home watch movies or something.... it went like this- didnt get a call til 15 til 8 saying he ABSOULTELy hates staying home and to get the kids ready and we go out to eat. he comes around 8:30 and we head out to the restaurant befor we get to the restaurant he remember he needs to get his book from the college campus. we go and he spends a freaking half hour talking with the other guys.(campus security) kids are restless in the back seat.

just got lovely news- hubby isnt coming home til in the afternoon now cuz they extended shifts..... need to figure out how to get wic stuff today.........

Ediesmom, isn't the weather here crazy? Past 2 days were gorgeous and now we have snow again :

Anyway its been a good week, my son is on spring break which means he is here, last night we did a local art walk and dinner, he is truly becoming a young man at 16.. they grow so fast.

I have a small vent, its starting to dawn on me that the local thrift stores here really are not a good value at all. We have Goodwill and Salvation Army and while they are ok for the little one (2.5) I think they suck for the adults. I have spent almost $20 this week between the 2 trying to find jeans that fit. It doesn't help that since losing weight I am in between sizes, 8's are too big, and 6's seem a tad too snug :. So I bought 3 pairs of jeans and none fit right, one pair is too big and the other 2 are too small and short.. ugh. I am thinking that I probably could have gotten a better deal at TJ Maxx or something for what I spent. Since as my dh stated shopping 2nd hand only saves money if what you buy is useful, which seems to be true. 3 shirts and 3 jeans later I have spent over $40 and none of it fits and unlike a regular store, I can't take it back :, so that is just wasted money.

Where did you buy them from Shay? I return items to the Goodwill stores all the time as long as the little plastic tag is on it and I bring the reciept. I'm not sure about SA though.

I only have 1 pair of pants that fit, and they are baggy and huge on me I gained so much weight this time around that nothing fits at all. I tried on a few pairs of pants at Goodwill last week that looked huge to me..but I couldn't even button them. That ended my store trip.

2 of them are from Goodwill but silly me, I took the tags off and washed them so I don't beleive I can return them.
