So woke up several times to contractions that were not comfy and finally decided to go to the bathroom around 4am. HUGE BLOODY SHOW
At first I thought, HOLY COW this is really it. I went out to the living room to breathe, because after the holy cow came the "I'm not sure I can do this" cry. I had to calm myself, pray, and release that fear. I am going to do this and this is REALLY IT.......my baby will be here today!!!
After that, I decided to hurry downstairs and finish blowing up the birth pool and air matress and make sure everything is ready. Didn't really want to wake DH, because he's a basket case and stresses me out. But, unfortunately he heard me and came to see what I was doing. I told him I thought this was going to be the day and at first he was calm and excited. After about 5 mins of trying to help me he started freaking out and making statements about how we should be in a hospital, not our living room!!!! YIKES, can you believe he's doing this now!!!! So of course, I start crying and tell him how important it is for him to be strong for me and he says he's trying he's just really stressed from work and now for our safety. Mean time, I have no idea where my contractions are, since I'm so busy preparing. They are there, but not bad at all.
After we are all finished I decide we better go back to sleep or at least lie down to get a sense of time on these things. WOW.....18 minutes apart......I really could be here all day~ So off to sleep I try.....not much luck but I'm able to rest.
Now it's 8am and I've decided to just get up and start my day. I feel a little discouraged that they are only 10-13 minutes apart, but guess I should feel blessed they really are managable if it does go all day. I think after my son's 5 hour birth, I wasn't sure what to expect.......of course my water broke to start my labor with him, so you never know??
Please send me good vibes for a quick, easy birth!!! I'm ready to hold my baby!!!
TMI.........Oh and I've been pooping like crazy since 4am. And the bloody show continues!!! I know that's a great sign!!!!
I will update when he's here........hopefully sooner rather than later!!!!
