FO: I made a soaker!

It's for kerikadi's sweet babe.

The grafting is a little rough, but overall it's not too bad! This is the original (free download) Fern & Faerie pattern. I wanna try the CurlyPurly pattern next - anyone had experience w/that one?

Looks very nice! I haven't made the Curly Purly pattern. Good luck on it

That's cute! I like the little cuffs. I haven't tried the Curly Purly pattern yet either, but it's on my to do list. I need to finish DD's longies first, the legs are taking forever!

Cute! I like the cuffs too. I have never knit the Curly Purly soaker but I have heard lots of good things about it.

That is really nice. I really didn't like knitting the CP soaker and I put it away for months. Then I picked it up just recently, LOVED IT, and I have since made 3 more. I really like the pattern and it is not hard. I like that I don't have to make a drawstring (which never gets finished).

Good luck Jenn

Looks great! Your cuffs turned out wonderful. A tip for your grafting... When you go to lanolize it/block it pull it tight in that area and it will make it even out some This is what I do.

Curly Purly- Haven't tried and probably won't b/c most of my work is w/ Merino and she says it doesn't hold elasticity very long

Very nice!

I have done 4 CP soakers now. After my first one I had posted my thoughts on it and they weren't taken very well. I'm more than happy to share though if you pm me. FWIW I have done 2 for us and have used both them. DD2 is currently in my most recent one. It certainly is cute on her if I do say so myself. I like them enough to use them (obviously or I wouldn't keep knitting it! ) and they are great for random amounts of yarn. 2 of the 4 I have done was to use up the last bits of balls. I have pictures of all four (in 3 sizes) if you'd like to see pictures.
