My first skirtie FO!

I have 2 DD's and this is my first one. Apparently I'm slow on the up take.

STATS:
Picky Pants shorties as the undersoaker
Paton's Merino in Navy Blue
BFL in unknown colorway (this was a swap and the lady sent me something "gender neutral" since we didn't know gender at the time)
Garter ridge cuff on the shorties
Short rows
Skirtie increases per the backside increase directions (4 times)
Skirtie portion was made up. I just kind of winged it.

That ruffle was a bit much. On the skirtie portion I increased to a total of something like 100 stitches. I did 3 increase rounds total and did kfb on every stitch each time. Yeah. That's a lot. It took me an hour to bind off. I was really ornry by the time I went to bed and regretting my choice of finishing. That was until I was done.

Skirtie
Undersoaker/shorties
On the booty
Bind off hell The Bfl made it look worse. It left indents (not sure why though) and rubbed off dye so most of the color is from that. I don't hold my yarn tight or anything either!

I have plans for DD1 to get one too. It won't be wool since she's pt'd but she needs one. Now.

You have to stop posting the adorable girl things! I can't have another baby yet

I love that bfl colorway And i have to say that your ruffles take a lot of dedication

Just do it already! If I sent you something girly would it prompt you to get on the ball? :

Yes, my ruffles take dedication. Or stupidity and no life. Not sure which it is yet.

That is just too cute! Another of the many reasons I need to figure out how to knit. Or is it crochet? I'd love to learn both, but would settle for one for now! So adorable!
