Favorite type of toe?

I making my dad some cuff down socks, and I'm wondering what kind of toe I should put on them. The toes I normally see in patterns all decrease down to just a few stitches, and I don't want the toe to be too tight or too pointy. What are your favorite toes?

I have short fat broad feet, so what I normally do is to decrease every other row until I'm halfway down to the number of stitches I want, and then decrease every row. It works for me

I only make toe-up socks, so no help here, but I do like those toes.
