Someone told me that I'd love a book called Last Child in the Woods. I read a quik blurb online and it seems interesting. I believe it focuses on "nature deficit disorder" and how kids today spend so much time cooped indoors with tv, videos and junk food. Has any read the book?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I saw it at Borders and thumbed through it a bit. I thought it was interesting, but wasn't surprised at any of the things I read. I've got it on hold at the library.

Yep. I think there's a tribe on it in the FYT section. Or maybe it is in here somewhere... Anyway, I think it is a really important book and helps you figure out how to connect your kids to nature, even if you're in an urban area. I recommend it!
