diaper rash

My little one has horrible diaper rash ...I am trying to let her be nude, but it is still pretty cold here so she is covered most of the time. I am using burt's (diaper cream and plan to cloth diaper her (she needs to get a little bigger nothing is fitting yet) Suggestions welcome!

are you using disposables right now? If she is too little for the cloth, you might want to try laying the cloth in her blanket and just wrapping her up that way. It creates a bit more laundry, but will get more air to her butt.

Also maybe the burts is not working for her? are you using disposable wipes? Maybe she has sensitive skin? We just use cloth wipes with warm water.

Good luck mama!

My son had diaper rash even with the cloth. I got some Weleda cream and it works great. It's safe for use for cloth too.

Maybe get a stronger diaper cream? Desitin is 40% zinc oxide & I believe the Burt's Bees is only 10% (although it does smell better!). Triple Paste is a stronger (and more expensive) rash cream...maybe try that? Also, it could be a yeast-rash, which in that case, you need to get an anti-fungal to treat it.

Kissaluvs size 0 fit newborns really well, that's what we're using

Good Luck!
