Put crib up today

Not that our baby will sleep in it, but I like to decorate nurseries. Also we got a new glider/rocker which is great for breastfeeding. Our last one broke after 4 years of use

I need to pack my hosp. bag, and do a bunch of annoying crap. I have no energy though. I am waiting for that last burst of nesting energy to get it all done. I am 20 days from my due date, but the baby is already so low I don't think I am going to make it.

I envy everyone nak-ing right now

1st - what is nak? I am feeling super smart to be discovering some of these acronyms, but that one is over my head. So if AF...

2nd - I hear you with the tired. I may not be able to sleep well at night, but darned if I couldn't sleep all the day long!!! Soooo tired all of a sudden.

I have to pack my hosp bag too. I have a small pile in the bedroom of things I intend to put in the bag, but just haven't taken that step yet.

I have just under 3 weeks to go, but saw the mw today and she said it could even be next week - which TOTALLY freaked me out. Not ready. I will be so happy if I go on my DD. That would be so good.

Hang in there mama!

nak = nursing at keyboard

AF = Aunt Flow, menstruating

I feel a major sense of accomplishment, having finally retrieved the baby carseat from the attic and installed it in our car. Thank g-d I don't have to think about getting ready for hospital--all our HB supplies are in hand and we're ready to go there (I think!).

Now if only I could get some work done...

I went absolutely nesting bananas on Saturday night. DH was at work, and after the kids went to bed, I scrubbed the bathroom (again), then I completely decluttered and rearranged my bedroom and assembled the cosleeper and packed my hospital bag. Oh, and unburied the glider, which was under a pile of clothes I was up til 3 or 4 but it was so worth it, because I feel more ready now.
I do need to wash the carseat cover and clean the carseat. I also have 20 more days to go, waaaah.

I also just finished putting up the co-sleeper today and getting the clean cover on the car seat. I finished packing baby's stuff and a bag of fun stuff for my 2 year old. Just packed my own bag a couple of days ago... But my due date is in 4 days -- such an awful procrastinator!!:
