Another WWYK...

OK, I have three skeins of Colinette one zero in popsicle. It's great, I love the colour. There's just one problem.
When I bought it, I was confused: I was intending to buy point five to make Joseph. So, what would you do? I can either double-strand it to get gauge, find another pattern for it, or twiddle with the numbers. Any ideas?

Oh, it's for my 2yo dd, btw, if that's any help at all...

I'd double-strand it. Cute pattern!

How cold is it going to be and for how much longer in your part of the world? Myself, in Florida, I'd knit it single and fudge with the numbers to get the most use out of it. But then again, you've got a new babe to inherit your artwork, so that might make the warmer double-starnded one worth it! Also, I can imagine that coat looking really cute with a variegated double-strand. Hmmm...

We're down to just sweaters now in early March- a single-strand one could get used almost continuously for the next year or so, until River has grown into it.
