How is everyone doing?

I am 3 days past DD, but I think it was wrong.

I started to feel contractions and pressure yesterday morning that I recognized with my first. I passed a huge plug this morning. I am hoping in the next 24 hours! I got a new outlook when I started to feel this way, a second wind of sorts. My body is progressing as is typical.

Yeah, Alija! Hope that things unfold quickly and calmly and you're holding a babe in your arms tonight or tomorrow. Very exciting!

I'm still 2 weeks out from my official DD. After feeling like it was "any minute" last week, I'm not feeling that at all recently... So we'll just see when he arrives.

I swear those due dates are just a promise of anxiety. I wonder if doctors gave you an extra week or two (as in due dates at 41 weeks) a lot of people would relax in the world. (like me!)

Congratulations-sounds like things are getting going for you!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm due onthe 28th, approx 5,000 weeks away. Last night he was giving me heck, but since I've had such an easy time up till now, I think it's fair. what I wouldn't give for a nap...

Hi--I'm actaully a February mom with a baby who is refusing to come out! I am 40 + 6 today, and seriously ready to be done. Sadly, I don't think my baby is agreeing with that idea, because I have had not a contraction, braxton hicks, cramp, twinge, hiccup--nothing.

Let's hope your labor is the real deal and your baby makes an appearance. Good luck!

I am due on Friday. I have my MW appt in a little while.. I feel like I am going to be preggo forever. I don't know if I want them to mess with my cervix (stripping membranes) again today. I have a LLL meeting tonight and I don't want to go there completely miserable.

Nothing much today - no cramps, a few painless ctx... but I finished my hospital bag and feel sorta ready... still a little nervous about labor - esp since baby is posterior

I'm switching my signature to days!

Yesterday was such a beautiful day so I took DS to the park to play. We walked the perimeter of the park a couple of times kind of hoping to get things moving with this LO. Not only did it not work but by evening my body hurt so bad that I couldn't walk at all. I was near tears. I'm two days from my EDD and my MW already thinks this one is about 9 lbs. I would like to get this little Volkswagen out of me very soon - preferably before we reach Winnebago proportions. While I have faith that my 6'1" frame can handle a big baby, I'm not so sure about my perineum. DS was only 7lbs, 9oz and I had 2nd degree tears in both directions. The prospect of a 10 lb. baby is beginning to scare me. Not to mention if he or she is that big, half the clothes we have won't fit!

I had my last OB appt, signed consent forms, and went by the hospital(which is a different one than the last 2 times, they all have been at a different place) , asked a nice nurse lots of silly refresher course type questions and to see how they are ploicy wise. And my IL's are arriving early evening. I am scheduled friday am early!

So things are getting finished. I would liek to take the next 2 days to get some nice quiet quilting done(dd's quilt is not finished, sadly ), with grocery shopping/cooking/gardening thrown in. I will hang up curtains and paint the hallway during the kids naptime today.

I am ready. But not. I can hardly knit for my tingly right hand, and I can't sit still knowing I will have a babe in arms soon!!!!!!!!!!!

Get ready for lots of cute nb fluffy diaper pictures!

You'll do fine. FWIW, my last boy was 9 1/2 even, but skinny as anything. the boy was all muscle and bone! He had such a slim torso he fit nb/small diapers for a looooong time. There is hope.

I'm a week away from my due date. No mucous and no contractions. My pelvic region has started feeling bruised the past few days.

My to-do list is almost done!

i am 37 weeks and 5 days (who's counting). I am having a lot of contractions esp. in the evening but nothing consistant. my coochie feels like it is falling out from all the pressure. every time i go to the bathroom i analyze the tp like a scientist. no loss of mucus plug to speak of. i really don't have a strong sense of when this baby is coming but i hope its not tonight because my husband is working all night on a movie shoot!!!

I had my mw appt. No change to my cervix....bummer. I didn't have her strip my membranes. I decided today that I am changing my due date to 3/19 because that will put me at 41 weeks and 5 days which is how long I carried my older two. If I keep telling myself that maybe I won't get bummed out after the 7th. On Monday, they want me to go for an NST *sigh*.

I'm pretty sure that my baby will be of winnebago proportion too LOL
