I never thought I'd still be pregnant at this point. Haven't had one contraction. Congrats to all who have had their babies, but how many of us are still waiting? I thought baby #2 was supposed to come earlier or atleast not later!!! Anyway, it looks like I am going to go ahead with the induction tomorrow. I have put it off 3x already and I am not comfortable going past 42weeks.

I'm officially only 40 + 6 today...but I don't get any indication that I will be having a baby today. I haven't had one contraction either. The longest I have ever gone is 41 weeks, with my first. And honestly, I am having raging hormones and cranky today and just feeling ready to give up on the whole "my body will do this in its own time" thing.

I have my first NST tomorrow. I can't be induced, because I am a VBAC, so if this baby doesn't come out in the next week, they are going to want a repeat csection.

and : to you both (all). i'd do accupuncture and accupressure before the induction. i hope your babies come soon. i went longer with my second baby too.

Not still pregnant, but was past due. We castor oil induced Senara's birth at 42+2, she was born on 42+3, according to the ultrasound date. IT's a rough go waiting so long to have your sweet baby. I guess what I'd say is, what Helen told me. Take each day one at a time and talk to your baby and share with her/him all the beautiful things you experience in your day. Encourage the baby and tell him/her you can't wait to meet her in person.

Hang in there! I was 41+3 this time around and 41+6 last time! I know it is rough, but enjoy these last few days of pregnancy, and as pp have said, you will be holding your litte ones very soon! :
