Who's still got a nursling?

I know I am not the only one! Lets start a support/bitch/rant/rave thread! I am still nursing (still, like he's all that old ) my 12 month old DS Casey. I'm a little nervous b/c I don't know what will happen to my supply and Casey really does not eat a lot of solids yet. I've started trying to get him to eat a little more but nope! He would nurse all day if I let him. I thought he was my lasty kiddo so I always said I would nurse him as long and as often as he wanted to so I am starting to feel some guilt.

I'm still nursing my 21 month old. The first symptom I showed actually was my milk supply tanked and she started getting really mad and telling me, "Nuh nuh stuck!" I don't think she'll stick out the pregnancy, she'll probably wean before too long. We're all about baby-led weaning, though so it's up to her. I'm reading up on tandom nursing just in case.

Me, still nursing my DD2 but I have cut right down to one feed per day cos I can't bear tandem feeding again (I always suffer a mahoosive overe supply which causes major problems......).....

Oh, and I also feel guilty..... Coco was supposed to be my last as well and she is s snuggly, it was so nice to snuggle with her while she feed and I feel I have let her down. I had to wean DD1 after a time of tandem feeding and that made me feel bad but I promised coco........ I just hate feeling bad, well I remedied it tonight by having pizza......

I just feel horrible that Casey is still way to young for me to wean, but it might happen if my milk dries up. I'm a 2 year bare minimum gal and the thought of him maybe not getting that really saddens me.

Ds is 'still' nursing - it doesn't feel like long at all to me, because dd didn't wean until right when she turned five - but he will be three next month, so I guess we are getting up there in the 'STILL?!?' category again.

I was lucky last time - relatively little nipple discomfort (some, for about two weeks, that was it), and dd insisted that there was less milk, but still some. Hopefully things will go as smoothly this time.

I'm still nursing DS, he's almost 23mths. I had planned (hoped lol) to tandem nurse for the first few months to help him bond with the baby but I'm really not sure what will happen. We need to nightwean him, definitely, but during the day he's down to before nap, bedtime, and first thing in the morning... he doesn't seem ready to give up his booby by any means, but when my supply goes, I wonder if he'll give up...

He hasn't started to complain that there's no milk yet, and I have zero nipple soreness thus far... with my last pg (ended in m/c) I was in pain at 5 weeks, and it started to wane a couple of weeks later, in hindsight that was probably when the baby passed away.

I'm nursing my almost 21 month old. She nurses a few times at night and then mostly just for nap during the day. She has cut down a LOT since I found out I was pg. I also have nip soreness, but it's not terrible. With my first pg I lost my milk at 4 months along, so I bet the same will happen. I would really like to nightwean her, but I don't mind if she nurses down for her nap and to go to sleep at night. I tandem nursed my first two and it was hard... but in some ways made the new baby easier on DS 1, who was only 21 months. But I can't imagine tandem nursing again... I feel like my older DS who will be over 4, would be left out!

I'm nursing my 2.5 year old. She looooves her mama milk, and I can't imagine that she'll wean, even if my supply goes She doesn't nurse often, but those 2 or 3 times per day are very important to her.

I'm "still" nursing my almost 21 month old. I'm really hoping he won't wean- I don't think he will, but toddlers are unpredictable!

Nursing my 21 month old. It would break my heart if my milk dries up and he has to wean. He LOVES his dee dees.

I'm still nursing my 27 month old DD, and hope to tandem nurse, but I guess it would be okay if she weans of her own accord. We night weaned before I became pregnant and she only nurses about 3 or 4 times a day (although if given the chance it would be more.)

I had discomfort right after I ovulated, but not really much right now.

I just hope we can stick with it, because nursing is really important to her, and pyschologically I don't feel ready to give it up.

I'm nursing my 20 month old dd. I haven't noticed any change in my supply... I still have plenty as usual! But Teagan really makes sure it stays up there lol. She eats plenty of solids as well, but I would like to continue nursing her until at least 2... and longer if she wants!

I haven't had any nipple soreness yet, but I didn't get it with my first pregnancy. Instead I get this vague feeling of uneasiness, but it is very subtle and the only time I really notice is at night. She's been pretty much night-weaned since 14 months (on her own accord), though, so it isn't often that she nurses alot at night (you know, unless she's teething, getting sick, etc..).

I'm so excited to be sharing this special time so closely with my daughter... we talk about how she will share her "bubby" with the new baby, and she pats my tummy and kisses it lol. She's going to make a great big sister!

I'm nursing Bella still (23months), and don't plan on stopping until she self weans. Tandem nursing doesn't scare me, and I'm totally looking forward to it! Bella is what I call a BOOB JUNKIE! She hardly eats any solids still, and nurses every 1-2 throughout the day and night. However, I will be night weaning her a couple of months before the baby is due, so I don't have to tandem at night

Oh, and I my nipples are soooooooooooooooo sore! When she latches on I have to bite my knuckles to keep from screaming!

So, for a baby like yours, and like mine, who don't eat a lot of food yet....what do we do if the milk dries up?!

The babes will know, and they will start requesting more solid food, and will actually accept it when offered. I'm praying my milk doesn't dry up, but honestly that won't stop her from "nursing"

I'm still nursing My supply would usually tank with my period, and it's held up so far for the pregnancy, so that's encouraging. With my 17mo I got colostrum at 20 weeks.

If I do lose supply before she's 2, we'll give her some goat milk mixed with organic carrot juice. I'm fairly convinced that babies need human milk nutritionally until they're two, so the goat milk/carrot mix would be a replacement.

DS is 8.5 months old and nearly EBF. He doesn't really want to eat to much soild foods. Bananas are the only exception.

I am worried. I nursed DD until she was nearly 3 and DS is so young. I am hoping my supply stay steady throughout this entire pregnancy!
