Oh yes, he actually eats a lot. (The H man is a moose, I'm interested to see how much he weighs at tomorrow's check) He eats 3 squares a day. Breakfast this morning consisted of blueberries, a few strawberries, small handful of O's cereal and some of my egg yolk on a bite of toast. And he's still yetching for more. He eats lots of solids on top of nursing frequently. He's intolerant to dairy (I'm not able to drink cow's milk or have ice cream, though I can eat most cheese without ill effect).

I just can't think of him not nursing.

I have a nursling. He's going on 21mos. My nipples are getting tender. He really likes his "mum-mums", though.
When I was pg with DS2, I weaned DS1 at 3mos pg, when he was 30mos old. He actually did really well. I simply could stand the physical sensation of him nursing. I was really sad.
I guess only time will tell. I don't think I'll tandem nurse, though.

Well, I guess my son is weaned He was only nursing once a day (at bedtime) and it's been a pretty easy transition. I really didn't intend to stop this early, but I felt like I couldn't do it anymore due to the constant nausea and lack of appetite. I felt like I didn't have anything more to give. I'm sad that he's done nursing, but I'm so relieved that it hasn't been a problem.

I am still nursing my four year old ds too. He'll be 5 in November, and I assume we'd be done by then because my older two weaned around their fifth birthdays. But we'll see. Tandem nursing was great before, but I cannot imagine nursing a newborn and a 5 year old at the same time.

I'm still nursing DD (11 mo) and had no intention of weaning. I am carrying twins, though so who knows if I can juggle three for tandem.

6.5 weeks and my milk is starting to dwindle. Trying to nurse to sleep last night was a challenge. Just not enough milk to get ds calm and focused. I'm drinking a ton of water, eating well and trying to get enough rest. I think I need to start eating oatmeal every morning. . but worry if I'm losing supply this quickly that I'm pretty much doomed. Hopefully he'll hold on, nurse even without constant milk, until colostrum kicks in. I'm so not readyt for my sweet 1 year old to wean
