I don't know if it's okay to ask this in here or not but my doctor's answer to this question was 'don't take herbs' 
I was prescribed Provera to bring on my period after a marathon anovulatory cycle. I have been taking vitex for two weeks now; prior to that I took it from August to December after going off birth control pills.
Is it okay to keep taking it? I'll be on Provera for 10 days.
