chunky sweater pattern

i'm looking for a chunky knit sweater pattern that uses big needles and heavy wt yarn. i just want something simple, no cables or designs, loose waist and sleeves and a high neck. is that specific enough for you? if i knew how to design a pattern i would design it myself but i've never made a sweater before and i want something quick that gives me some experience but doesn't take forever. tia

I would recommend going to a library and checking out Yarn Girls' Guide to Simple Knits. A lot of their patterns are for bulky or heavy worsted weight yarns and very simple construction.

There's a Yankee Knitter pattern that would work for you. Easy Bulky Sweater for the whole family. http://www.yankeeknitterdesigns.com/patterns.html
Scroll down, it's pattern #30. It has options, which is great for when you get a bit more experienced knitting. Kid and adult sizes, roll, crew or faux turtle necks and with or with out a cable. I've knit it quite a few times.

ETA that I've knit the knitty Topsecret sweater, too. It was my second sweater ever.

If your library has Ann Budd's Knitters Handy Book of Sweater Patterns, it has charts of numbers to calculate different sweater styles with any weight of yarn.

On Knitty, there's the Banff sweater.

For $5, there's a pattern on Etsy called My First Sweater.
