I have my packet to enter myson in the local kindy if we do not get into the charter school and they require he have another MMR,DPT, and Polio vaccine. I feel squishy about popping him with all those in one day and doing it at all.
Thoughts or advice?

California has exemptions from vaccines. If you're not comfortable giving those last few, just don't.

My DD hasn't had any shots since she was 2, and we just filed a religious exemption with her kindergarten. Easiest thing in the world, and nobody looked at us twice.

i agree, get the exemption if you're not comfortable with the vaccinations.

But FWIW, charter schools ARE public schools. In most states, charter schools are regulated similarly to traditional public schools when it comes to things like vaccinations and attendance rules.

yes, i know that charter schools are public schools. However, I have more time to get stuff done while the other school gave us 2 weeks.
I've found the exemption form. Thanks!

I'm in Cali, too, and I didn't do all those for my son when he started Kindy. I opted out.
