Wizard of Oz it is!

I'm the Wicked Witch, with broom grogger (noisemaker for the Purim observance)

DD1 is the "Tin Teen" complete with "oil can" grogger (toilet paper tube filled with beans and covered with aluminum foil, with a "spout" made from a drinking straw)

DD2 is the Scarecrow with a grogger made of extra straw (ok, toilet paper tube filled with beans and covered with dried grass from the backyard.)

DS will be the Cowardly Lion- DD1 and I worked hard on his costume tonight, with a grogger in his tail! His grogger was made from a cut up egg carton (2 egg cups filled with dry beans and taped together) and put in a "pocket" of orange fabric, held in place on the tail with a rubber band, We can easily remove the noisemaker for washing- and we'll likely need to replace it each time the costume is worn, as the egg cups might crack if he sits on it.

How cute! I love building the groggers into the costumes!
