nursing with and overbite...baby!

I am going to post this in breastfeeding problems too.

I have been looking at Henry's mouth and he has a super overbite, which I thought was weird at first but his bottom gum does not match up with his top gum. I talked with my FIL and he said that my dh had the same problem and they had to get it corrected when he was older. So I am wondering if this could be the reason that he has such a crappy latch, and the reason he clamps down and bites.
He eats fine, he has gained 2lbs in his first month so I am not worried about gaining.

I have noticed that my breasts are getting kinda numb to it, which is good b/c we can keep nursing I have been worried that I will have to stop b/c it hurts so much. I do pump and bottle feed at night to give my nipples a break, that seems to help.

anyone know of a baby with and overbite?

(Jumping in from March) Baby isn't born yet but I had an u/s at 32w during which the doc saw that s/he probably has a recessed chin/overbite (I had this too and had to have braces, etc when older) and that this may cause b/f problems... we'll see... Good luck
