If dd wanted to have a friend spend the night, I wouldn't feel like I had to ask the friend's mom if it would be ok to have my partner (dh) stay over on the same night her child would be.

Also, people don't automatically assume I'm attracted to the gender I'm not. Like, no one asks me "So, do you have a lesbian lover?" the way lesbians are often asked if they have a boyfriend.

Being Hetrosexual for me is natural. This is also true in evolution, if we were all gay the human race would die. do I think gay people are wrong? No. Who ever created us has to have a purpose. Is it biologically right? No. Only a man and a woman can reproduce. This has a purpose also!

ok, this is a pet peeve for me, so please bear with me.

1) Nature never asks us to be all or nothing regarding anything -- all hetero- or all homo- anything. Diversity is the key to survival in nature. Check out any ecology journal.

2) Sex has more than one purpose. Sex is for reproduction AND... communication, bonding, intimacy, exhibiting commitment, stress relief, healing. Just because homosexual or bisexual sex is not for reproduction, does not imply that it is non-natural in any way, but rather that there is diversity in purpose as well as method.

3) There are many documented cases of mammal homosexuality and bisexuality in the wild where sex is used for the above stated purposes, not reproduction.

Diversity in method and purpose. That is nature's way.

Gayness can not be proven or disproven scientifically. Therefore, gay marriage is an issue until it can be proven as a fact instead of a choice. I am a Bush supportor but he has this issue wrong. It is a state issue and not a Federal issue. Most or all (note sure) that have voted, have voted down gay marriage. IMO, "Pursuit of Happiness" has nothing to do with gay marriage.

My reply to the original thread: I can be in the military without worrying being killed for my private life choices.

Wow, I read the first page of this thread and felt so lucky that as a lesbian in Massachusetts I can be legally MARRIED to my true love. I have never received any flack about it, save one person(my mother ). Then I read the 2nd page....

I have a serious problem with the post about how if the whole world were gay the population would die out. First of all most gays WANT children, and secondly, there would still be men and there would still be women, even if the men were "making it" in a cup, babies would still(and have still) been made.

I hope to have a HUGE family with my WIFE. Probably 6-10 kids, no risk of population dying out here...
