and everything went just absolutely amazing and perfect.
baby is growing like a weed - s/he actually measured about a week ahead and is over two inches long now.
The NT measurement was really good as well - over 2.18mm can indicate down's and Poppy's was 1.50 mm so that's great. Of course, we still have to wait for the bloodwork to come back, but we're really not concerned about it.
Poppy was moving all over the freaking place - it was insane. The tech actually had a hard time getting some of her measurements because the little stinker wouldn't stay still. She kept putting her hand up to her head and so the tech couldn't get a good shot of her nose. The whole time, Poppy wouldn't be still - it was just awesome.

I'm still going with thinking she's a girl, although I had a dream last night Poppy was a boy. My next OB appointment is March 18th and if we get another ultrasound then (which we should) we stand a pretty good chance at finding out the gender.
Oh, we also got to hear the heartbeat for the first time - it was amazing. It's just unreal to think there's this tiny little baby growing inside me with a heartbeat and everything!
