Thrush in one nipple?

Hello All,
I have a month old and from week 3 I m experiencing burning pain in my nipple (earlier i thought it was latching issue coz pain seems to be like thru friction) whn baby latches and burning pain above the nipple ( in breast) today I notice the nipple looks a bit pink and nipple becomes sore and on the way of cracking.. but is it possible to have thrush only in one breast?


I also have a plugged duct in the same breast and burning pain is around that area only.
Breast compression hurts on that side and if i massage the duct the burningpain increases.

Donno wht is it.

chekd baby's mouth. only tongue is white which to me looks like milk residue.
I have ped appointment tomorrow so will get her checked tomorrow.

any help or insight would be really helpful.

I have thrush right now and it is only in my right breast. I let it go for too long and it did move to my left briefly but Diflucan got rid of it there. Now I only have problems with my right. I have plugged ducts, milk blebs, cracking, ect...I am sorry if you have this because it's awful. I hope you can find some relief soon. Do the diet for sure...I know it works because if I slip up, I am in pain again....no sugar, no dairy, low carbs....:

i have had thrush in both breasts for 2 months now. it started in one breast after a case of plugged ducts, milk bleb/blister, and mastitis (all in the same week!) it was in my ducts and spread to the nipple in the other breast. 14 days on diflucan cleared up the ductal yeast, but i still have it on both nipples. lots of burning and pink. start probiotics right away. the white tounge may be yeast....its hard to scrape off if you can get a finger in there....your baby should be treated the same time as you, my baby didnt have any symptoms. grapefruit seed extract caps 250mg/3 times a day is helpful and wash your nipples with H20 after feedings. good luck....this is a long hard road....but you are not alone!

i get my daughter chekd for thrush and thankfuly she doesn't have it.
so its me wiht thrush in one nipple and breast.

I m gonna start on GSE and lets see.
I hope it improves.

I also found battling with thrush thread.
