Help me find my stitch?

I'm a long time crocheter, working on my first knitting project. I'm making the LTK hybrid rib soaker. I messed up a bit establishing the 2x2 rib and was unknitting a few stitches when I totally dropped one off the needles. I can't figure out what goes where to put it back together.

Here's some photos:

Advice? TIA

Okay, look at the first pic you have in your post. See the length of yarn that's running from the first stitch on the top needle to the second stitch on the bottom needle? It looks like that should be knitted/purled (depending on which side you're looking at) through the first stitch on the bottom needle. IOW, I think you've picked up whatever you dropped, but one of the stitches (the first on the bottom needle) laddered down a row.

To fix it, take that stitch off the bottom needle with a crochet hook (you can do it with a knitting needle too, but hooks can be easier, and it sounds like you have them around ) and pull the yarn that's running between the two needles through the stitch. (I would guess that you'd want to have the hook coming from below the knitting as you're holding it in this first picture -- obviously, you can hold it however is comfortable, but that's the relative location of hook to knitting that you'd probably want. If it doesn't end up looking right, you'd drop the stitch again and try switching the positions of yarn section and crochet hook.)

Also, look here: http://www.knittinghelp.com/videos/knitting-tips Go down to "Fixing Mistakes -- Fixing a Run/Dropped Stitch." Good luck!

Oh, good! It's so hard to explain these things in writing. Glad I could help.
