Organic Baby Wash

Thread Starter
I don't use it every day, but need something for DS. He has allergies to a LOT of stuff. He has reacted to Earth Mama and to Arbon and Aubrey's has nut and citrus oils in it.

So I need the following:

1) MUST be organic
2) None of his allergy triggers (milk, eggs, citrus, all nuts...That's all I THINK would possibly be in a wash)

Any ideas you great Mama's?

Thanks SO much!

This isn't exactly a baby wash but we use it for that (among other things): Dr Bronner's Baby-Mild Liquid Soap. Ingredients:
Water, Saponified Organic Coconut & Olive oils (w/ retained Glycerin), Organic Hemp Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Citric Acid, Vitamin E.

I usually mix it 1:5 with water and put it in a foaming soap pump. We then use it as baby wash/shampoo, soap for showers, and hand soap. DH also shampoos his hair with it.

Try Weleda Cream Bath....I love it!

Distilled Water, Jojoba (Buxus Chinensis) Oil, Almond Oil, Grain Alcohol (Ethanol), Glycerin, Glycerol Oleate, Calendula Extract, Sodium Beeswax, Essential Oils, Xanthan Gum.

or Erbaviva products are great too. I've never used the baby wash but I've used several others and am happy with all of them. They have a Baby Washbag Pouch that is for super sensitive skin so it's just herbs in a muslin bag....

Organic oatmeal, organic milk powder, organic lavender flowers, organic essential oils of lavender and mandarin. Filled into an unbleached cotton sachet.

We have used castille soap like dr bronners for bath time before too.

There are some great WAHM soaps out there that are allergy friendly. I have had great luck with bluehousesoaps.com being very gentle.

We've used California Baby Super Sensitive for a couple years... it's definitely got minimal allergens but I don't know if it avoids ALL of yours. I'll have to go find a bottle and check the label. We prefer it slightly to Dr. Bronners Baby Mild only because the kids say Dr. Bronner's stings more if it gets in their eyes. I personally use Dr. Bronners in a foamer with a tiny bit of EO (whatever scent I feel like) in the shower and love it, though! I stick to Baby Mild because I've heard the Peppermint, etc can be drying, and I have problems with dry and itchy skin.

eta of course I never notice when the date is waaay back on a thread when I'm just browsing. :-) oh well!

We also use California Baby Super Sensitive. Ingredients list citrus seed extract, so that may not work for you unfortunately.

Terressentials has a baby section. They sell 100% organic products. Here's a link to the baby page: http://www.terressentials.com/babycare.html
