I have a slingeeze and no matter how many times I llok at the pictures I can't get ds to sit confortably in it. I was given it at my baby shower with dd and never used it because I couldn't figure it out. Can anyone please help me!

How old is your DS? I was unable to put my DD in a cradle hold until she was 3 or 4 months... I instead held her upright, tummy to tummy, with the top rail of her sling behind her head or around her shoulders when she was able to control her head better.

The Maya Wrap site has a video you can download and watch to help with positioning.

I'm not familiar with the sling you have. Is it padded or unpadded? In my experience, a padded sling is easiest to use with an older baby. We have the Maya Wrap (unpadded) and have been using it since DD was a week old (she's 6.5 months now). I love it!

Good luck, and keep trying!

It's a padded one. Thanks for the link to the video. I'll check it out.

Slings...don't give up on it. You might enjoy it later if not now. Is it hot where you are? Of course not every baby loves every contraption..my ds's were and are all different.

I have used a padded sling. I have two actually. You have to think backwards to put it on correctly. And I think I learned how to wear it after quite a few tries. Nice to lay a sleeping baby down it. It is like a blanket...you just have to slip your self out. Lovely for little ones.

You could go to a LLL mtg just to learn how to use your sling. it really helps to get hands-on demos. Bring your sling and the moms will be happy to oblige.

Or maybe you should just go to Target.
