4 hours in L&D

and no baby yet.

So I had an eventful day yesterday. I was in a car accident with the kids. Everyone is fine. I spent 4 hours being monitored and babe is ok. I had just installed the infant seat, so I not only have to replace the 2 kids' seats, but also the baby seat. Well at least she'll get her own and not a hand me down. The car got towed and I have to call and find out more today. So I now have a bunch of stuff to do before baby arrives. She better take her time. The stroller was in the trunk, and I don't think it made it. But I didn't bother to look. As if I didn't have enough stuff to do to prep for this baby. I now have to go shopping again. Am I complaining about that? I just hate how last minute it is. Oh well.

Yikes! Glad to hear everyone is okay, but man, what a hassle having to deal with this now.

eeek- that is rough timing... You'll get everything done, though. As moms, we always do! Best wishes!!

Christine! Glad to hear everyone is ok.
Sorry to hear about all the damage and resulting shopping you have to do because of it.

I'm so glad you guys are ok! We had a bad wreck a month ago and had to replace ds' car seat, too. And the hopsital stay sucked! Hopefully baby will hang out a little longer and you can get everything done!

Sorry about the scare and the hassle, but glad you're all OK!!!

If you're feeling overwhelmed, are there things you could leave for others (maybe helpers who will be around after baby arrives) like the stroller? The car seat might be the only essential for right now... Hang in there!

It's my understanding that your insurance will cover all new car seats now matter how expensive...

I had just bought 2 radians. I haven't even thrown the boxes out. I'd just installed the infant seat the day before. It was ds's. So I can pick out a girly seat this time.

I hope this is my first late baby. Both my kids were early, so I'm hoping she breaks the trend.

I am so sorry. Accidents suck in general but this close to your due date!!! Ekk. I am glad everything was okay with the biophysical profile though.

So... my car is totaled. Add that to my list of things to do. Please, please, baby girl, take your time.
