Well my little guy will be here any day now...
I spent about 5 hours in L&D a week ago Wed. (2/27). I thought my contractions were 5-15 minutes apart and irregular at my Dr.'s appointment so she sent me over to be monitored. I was also 75% effaced and dialated to a 1. The contractions were 1 1/2-2 minutes apart but I was only feeling the strong ones. I got Nifedipine which made them a little less painful, then an IV which did nothing, and finally a shot. They stopped my labor so I could get steriod shots. I got the first dose and went back the next day for the second. I had my baby shower on the 1st (last Saturday). This whole time I was still contracting about 2 minutes apart lasting about 30 seconds. I went back Monday because I was having a hard time breathing through them. I was still a 1 and 80% effaced so they sent me home on modified bedrest. At my appointment on Wednesday they said his head is fully engaged, still a 1 but 90% effaced (almost a 2). STILL contracting regularly and I'm more on bedrest than modified-supposed to lay down most of the time and not go to school or anything. I still think they're off by a week on my due date and I'm so ready to be done w/all of this. I'm so sick of contractions and I haven't got any sleep in over a week! Anyways I just wanted to come say hi if anyone cared...

Hang in there! I can empathize; I was in L/D on Thurs with contractions and got terb injections. They want him to cook at least a week longer.
