question? Recommended reading?

Im just starting off in learning about the Waldorf Education- and I have a DD who is 3 months, and i was wondering if anyone has any recommended books to learn more about Waldorf parenting for babies- Ive already ordered a copy of You Are your Childs First Teacher, TIA

Heaven on Earth is also a must-read for Waldorf parents of babies/toddlers/preschoolers.

"Creative Play for Your Baby: Steiner Waldorf expertise and toy projects for 3 months -2 years" by Christopher Clouder and Janni Nicol

This book is mostly project based, but it also explains the Waldorf philosophy for babies and toddlers and how each project relates back to that. There are lots of pictures and it's easy to read in small nips here and there - very handy for moms with babies to care for!

I used to know the lady who wrote it, back when we both lived in Chicago. A very sweet person with a good sense of humor. And she adored children.

I love Lifeways and More Lifeways. I read them over and over and over! Also check out Donna Simmon's site, Christopherus Homeschool Resources. She is my favorite Waldorf Educator. Even though it is homeschool based, you will find lots of resources for early childhood, since most of that is done at home!
