Mmmmm the hunger? The dozing? Methinks you're not too far off Just a feeling though.

Ditto on the hunger and the dozing off!! I think I am just waiting to get my house clean. I think the baby knows I do not want him to come just yet...but he is letting me know that he won't wait forever!!! I am trying to hurry, but with my DH just getting home from Iraq I am so tired and distracted. Hopefully I will be all settled by next week.....OH, yeah, they sent my DH home for the birth!!!!

I'm no longer UCing but I thought I'd pop in because I 'know' so many of you!

I'm 28.5 weeks with twins now. Still planning a low intervention home birth with MWs. My babies are getting HUGE! I measured 40cm at my appt on Monday. Everything looks excellent with them and with me, and I am so thankful! I'm hungry like you cannot believe unless you've had two, so tired I could sleep around the clock, and basically just trying to keep up with the physical needs of two babies! It's a blessing, and has been an AMAZING journey as a woman, as a mother, and as a future midwife. I've had to confront and overcome things that I never would have had to before, and I've had to make decisions on things that I would have rather not even considered.

We're having two more ultrasounds. One in about a week and a half and one at 36 weeks. Mostly to appease my MW and keep her comfortable since I feel confident they are healthy and growing. They send me lovely, warm vibes. They are both adorable and I am so excited to meet them!

I love you! I love anyone who says that! I'm also contracting like mad, leaking water, and my back is KILLING ME.

Oh, and I hear having the craps is a sign to, so - well I'm ok with being gross now - if it is...count me in w/that too.

I really wish I knew if I was dialted at ALL. I am not about to go get checked & have no clue how to do it myself. Guess I won't know...

rmzbm: Your body sounds PREPPED for labor! How awesome! I bet you will have a great labor and birth. Take care of yourself.

Chantelhayes: You said you were charting when you conceived and your chart showed you ovulated four days apart. What does that look like on a chart? I haven't been able to find anything about that. Was it multiple dips and spikes in temp? Just curious!

That or I'm about to get my period! That's what I have felt like all day today...dull, achy and yucky!

But I'd have to be HELLA bloated to look like this!

I'm here. 20 wks & 5 days. Still have no hunger. So I have not been gaining any weight. Which is fine since I am on the heavy side anyways. I do eat a bit, but just have no appitite. I am seeing an OB but planning a UC. Baby is doing well and growing big. But I am not showing much at all. But tends to get in my way when I try and bend over now.

Hi, just wanted to say that I had my husband check me regularly when I was close, my bradley teacher said it was ok as long as it was followed up with DTD... However, I figure it's your own germs anyway so no big deal if you don't feel up to dtd. So if you have a partner you are comfortable with and who's comfortable with doing it, try it! It's fun knowing what's going on down there, even though I was jealous, he got to touch our daughter's head weeks before I did as I started to dialate a month before hand

I have never heard that before! Why would you need to DTD after your husband checks your (potential) dilation? That's very interesting!!

I'm here! 21wks 3dys. We're staying home for the birth. I seen our family doc who is uc-friendly around 17wks. No u/s! I'm so proud of myself! It gives you a sense of being "free". I don't, just a feeling I got from not having the u/s. It helped that my dr didn't think one was necessary.

It has been pretty uneventful, except for the occassional spotting. I don't really "feel" pg yet. It's kinda weird. I guess I'm just busy doing other things! Although, I do tend to wake up at 4am hungry!!

LOL Marie... super bloated woman stands on head to start period.

Yeah, those runs... gotta get it all cleaned out before he/she can make the trip!

I'm guessing Saturday March 15 at 5:15pm for you. You'll either be in active labor or crowning. I'll be able to check later that evening as I'm having a party from 2-4.

OMG!! : Please, not when I have apple pie in my mouth!

You would actually go to a party while I'm in labor? You'd probably be missing some REALLY interesting drama!

Sat works though! Or, ya know, any day leading up to it as well...

I'm hosting one of those Home & Garden thingies at my house... I'll probably have the lappy open the entire time to make sure I don't miss anything.

"So, Sunny, why are you surfing the internet with 20 people at your house?"
"Because I need to see if Marie has went into labor yet! Duh!"
"Marie who...?"

LOL

Well, if we've already determined she'll be here at 5:15 you shouldn't have to check too much!

I'll be so pissed if I'm wrong LOL Then again this is my first ever "prediction", I just pulled a date and time out of my butt, the first one that came to mind. If I'm right I'll start a business Hehehe

Hey you guys this might not be funny to some, but I have a friend who is really goosey about giving birth and "emergency" situations so I played a practical joke on her(we have a history of doing that)...I showed up at her house with a water balloon between my legs and well the rest was hysterically funny....Had to get a few laughs during this miserably uncomfortable time!

I am hoping to have this baby out by or on Monday. Being St. Patrick's Day that would mean 2 down one to go....

My sister just had her baby on February 29th, Leap Year
If I gave birth on March 17th....
My other sister is due on May Day this year.....
We would all have holiday babies.

Hey there everyone!

I am more of a lurker than anything but since I can no longer post on my other pregnancy forum (some sort of error message keeps popping up) I would like to at least have some sort of support group. I don't think they would understand my choice to UC anyways.

I am 31 weeks along and looking forward to holding my babe in my arms. This will be my first pregnancy and obviously my first UC and I am all excited and looking forward to the birth.

Its hard to hide anything in my family and I am getting lots of crap from my sisters for the "stupidity" of not AT LEAST having a midwife. It doesn't help that there are absolutely none in my county. That and I just trust my body. Everything is good so far so why should I worry. They don't think I worry enough. Strange...I thought that worry was a bad thing not a good thing.

At least my mother is supportive. She had three of her five at home and two of those were UC. She will be there for me during the birth. Her and my loving, supportive, awesome husband.

As third trimester continues I am looking forward to the birth more than ever. I would love to have a bladder again that is bigger than a walnut and that little head shoved against my pubic bone is getting a little painful. He is nice and low and in a great position for birth but not a great position for me to stand or walk.
