Why healthcare professionals are ridiculous...

Okay, so I am less than 2 weeks from my due date. The 23rd is the day to be precise. My baby is measuring a little big around the middle, and I failed my one hour glucose the first time. I passed the 3 hour just fine. They made me repeat the one hour last week because of the measurements and of course, I failed it (passing is 142 - I did a 148). So now they are making me take two hours of appointments with the diabetic counselor and the nutritionist. Did I mention I am 2 weeks away from my due date? Whatever!!!!!!!

not in your DDC but they can't "make" you do anything. do what YOU are comfortable with.

Just so you know, maternal glucose levels rise the further along you are. I would absolutely refuse. A higher glucose level at 38 weeks is not an indication of gestational diabetes but rather an indication your body is doing what it is supposed to.
