Yum, I just love it! Pic here

E has outgrown her nice bulletproof Tiny Bird soaker, so I knit a new one from the same free pattern but I went up a needle size, and knit loosely with Peace Fleece in Lauren's Coral, yummy yummy! and when it was done I threw it in the machine on warm, then the drier, and it is now just the right size! Ooh, I am chuffed!

Who would have guessed that I would get such joy from making a diaper cover? Yes, I am laughing at myself, but I know you ladies will get it!

Sharon, I've been wondering how the coral knits up; it looks beautiful! And thanks for sharing that semi-felting technique. I bet that is one strong soaker.

Thanks, mamas. Yes, HoneyTree, I was really pleased with how it looks, too. And it is hardly "felted" the way I think of it, it still has clear stitch definition, but it really is denser. But I was surprised that the color still bled, even after a hot hand wash, the machine wash and dry, when I lanolized it, it even bled in the tepid water I used. Not a lot, but I was surprised... But it is a nice color, and I really enjoyed knitting with it. It took exactly one skein, too. So now I have another skein of the coral.... maybe a hat, hmmmm.....

I love how the peace fleece looks in that pattern! Ours are semi-felted also, just not intentional. That just makes them work even better.
