why..

It isnt a public photo.. why am I violating by having a tasteful photo of my newborn baby bf?!

anyone else had this happen?? Im really irritated...
Sadly, I've heard of that happening alot.
That's ridiculous! How does a bf'ing photo violate their terms of service?
It happened to her,too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jL0Jv3noX9s'

I can't tell you how upset I am! That's ridiculous. I guess it's ok to have boobs there as long as it's meant to please a man. I checked, and those 1/2 naked (or more!) pics of Christina Aguilera are still there, but heaven forbid there be breastfeeding pics.

: <------------- Don't do how I feel justice.

I would upload it again personally. clearly they are stupid.
Yes, Dh had a photo of me nursing deleted from his account. Ridiculous.

I will upload it again.. for sure..

I really find it absolutely unbelieveable what they find "offensive"

Ugh!!! How Rude!!

Ugh... how stupid and immature of them!

Maybe you should switch to flickr. The "boob lovin'" picture in my sig has been up on flickr for a while and they havent done squat! And I think that picture is a lot more "controversial" than some of those newborn breastfeeding pics shown on that youtube video. Yay for flickr! Boo on photobucket!

But really... take a look at that pic... how can you be offended by such a happy scene?

I sometimes wish I was still using PB for my photos b/c it's way easier to share pics in Vbulletin forums, and way less clicking to get to the right version of the pic, BUT you all are reminding me to stick with flickr! I hope no one's had trouble with them...

Nikki! Hi!!
The same thing happened to me recently on Myspace. They deleted one of my breastfeeding pics.
I still haven't heard back from them.
It made me so mad and sad at the same time.

My stepmom had pictures from right after my son's birth on her myspace and they deleted the breastfeeding pics from her photos too. The explanation they gave was that some people on myspace are as young as 14, so they need to keep out nudity and inappropriate pictures. Yet girls can put up pictures of their asses hanging out in thongs.

But they somehow missed a photo that showed part of my bare crotch right after my baby was put on my chest.

I agree... I am tired of all the very provacative photos on myspace, etc I dont want to see some of them, but they are on there.. I really want to know why its so "awful" to see breasts used for what they were MADE for...

Hi ziggysmama!! good to see you on here!!!

What makes this even odder is that those magazine covers would be subjected to some sort of copyright, so you'd think those would be deleted if only for that reason alone.
perhaps you could write a letter to them... I bet there are lots of mamas here who would be willing to sign it with you. What a shame!

Beeeyoootiful pics sisters!

Very beautiful! I'm glad you uploaded it again, I just hope they don't remove...again...

Sometimes I think it's not nudity PB, Myspace etc don't like, it's the actual act of breastfeeding they think is disgusting or inappropriate.

Why would they delete it? There isn't even any nipple showing. So therefore it isn't nudity. Beautiful pic, btw.

I dont know why they would delete it, I was shocked when I signed in and saw "This image or video violates are terms of service." and I only knew which one it was because I knew the other pic I uploaded with it, and it was the only bf photo..

I think there are way too many people in the world for some reason find bf repulsive.. It really bothers me.. I think a mother bfing her child is one of the most beautiful sights in the world.. it probably sounds silly, but when I do see someone nip, I get tears in my eyes, because I am so happy for that baby..

thank you both for the comments on the photo..

How pathetic of them. I wonder if they would delete a picture of an indigenous tribal woman breastfeeding too, or only a 'westernized' woman because we're supposed to be 'above' that. I get so tired of people oohing and aahing over pictures of women in other cultures breastfeeding but icking out over US and European women breastfeeding. The hypocrisy is astounding.
