Doll Pattern - the kind with buttons, zippers, etc.

i want to make ds a doll - the kind where you can do the doll's zipper, button, laces, etc. - i am not even sure what you call that kind of doll. i am a beginner sewer, so i am looking for something that i can actually accomplish! do you all have any pattern suggestions (free or cheap)?

i also want to make a girl and boy soft doll (not necessarily waldorf style) that i can make clothing for over the years. this would be for both ds and dd. they are both just starting out (2 and 10 mos.) so i anticipate many years of doll play to come. i'm looking for just a nice functional doll that can be carried around and played hard with and that i can add pieces to over time.

i've been searching this forum as well as online and am just not finding what i am looking for. i think i am probably not using the right search phrases.

It's supposed to be sized for newborn clothing so should be easy to find patterns to fit it.I haven't made them yet but I plan to make one for DD and DS. I've saved a couple of their tiny outfits for their dolls.

I haven't seen a pattern for the dolls with zips, buttons etc. However I have made dolls clothes with multiple fastenings which we just used on the dolls we had.
