I saw a website selling kombucha growing equipment with a large container with a dispensing spout at the bottom for the "continuous growing" method. It was made of food-grade plastic. I also just found one made of lead-free porcelain on the web, but it's pretty expensive.
Has anyone used something similar to this for brewing kombucha? Does it work well? I was wondering about just getting one of those big glass jars with a plastic spout sold as sun-tea jars or drink dispensers. The spouts on them are plastic, but that seems like it would be better than the whole container being made of plastic.
