Egg Bloom question

Thread Starter
So I'm buying some lovely pastured, fresh from the farm eggs these days. They still have the bloom on them. I know I should leave the bloom on until I'm ready to use them BUT my question is this: is just rinsing and rubbing under cool running water good enough? I'm not a big "must be sterilized" kinda person (I think we're overcleaning our environments which leads to super bugs- clean, not supppppppper clean is good enough for me...), but I don't want to introduce a yucky or dangerous thing into my eggs. My kids and I sometimes consume them raw, so this is even more important in those situations.

What do ya'll do?

We have three hens. I just rinse the eggs under cold water and dry with a soft towel. We haven't had a problem.
