I've caught most of 1 episode & the end of another. It makes me sad & happy at the same time. Anybody want to discuss?

I'll probably be flamed so much for this, I'll be a roasted tomato!
While I understand that some mothers have to work due to their financial situation, I do not believe that following ones "dreams" trumps the welfare of your children. For nursing age babies and toddlers (which would include the 1 1/2 year old), I believe that the most important priority is being with them. I think our culture puts WAY too much emphasis on selfish, "me"-centeredness.
What I dislike about the show is the "sad, boo hoo, bittersweet" music they play when the mother decides to stay at home.
What I LIKE about the show is that they show women as multi-faceted, that SAHMs have many interesting and exciting layers to them. I think we get pigeon holed a bit, stereotyped.
