So I am past my due date by 4 whole days. *gasp*
The hospital that I have to deliver at, because I can't afford a non-hosp birth, gets all nervous and jerky when a vbac comes there way. So, the midwives have to suggest things like an ultrasound/bpp to check fluid levels. Currently, it is scheduled for when I am 41 weeks. I've done a bit of research and I don't think I need this testing done. At the moment, my plan is to cancel that appointment.
Can midwives "feel" low fluid levels when they palpate your belly? I certainly don't want to throw caution completely to the wind. Maybe consenting to the u/s at 42 weeks would be better? I carried my older two till I was 41w 5d.
ETA - opps, I thought I was posting this in I'm pregnant. Sorry.
