How come my hips are bigger now, after giving birth, then they were when I was 9 months pregnant? kinda weird, I can't fit jeans I wore when I was in my 9 month. Will they ever be the same? Oh well, just thought it was strange & it made me curious

Maybe it is bone placement issues? I would see a chiro!

typically, the bones shift out during vaginal birth. they can and do go back together, and you might try belly binding (including the hips in the bind) as part of the process.

usually, it goes back on it's own in a few weeks.

My body changed completely after giving birth to my DS. My hips were narrower (it took awhile for me to notice this though - about 5 months) and my ribs/chest was wider. I think things just shift around.

I wore size 8 jeans prepregnancy and now 2 years later am in size 10 due to larger hips, though I'm below my pre-pregnancy weight. It just happens that way I figure, things shift in pregnancy and birth. Might be part of the reason second births are easier too.

also, shifts in cuts/sizing.
