corn-free, dairy-free probiotics?

Are there corn free, dairy free probiotics available? I need something that my 3 year old son and 9 month old daughter can both take--so a tablet (even chewable) is not going to work.

Thanks in advance!

The two we use (and the only two I've found) are DDS Plus Acidophilus and Bifidus http://www.vitacost.com/UASLabsDDSPl...ilusBifidusFos and Natren Bifidofactor http://www.vitacost.com/Natren-Bifido-Factor. Both are in capsules. We've used them for a year now with no corn or dairy reactions.

I use a powder (got it from the UK). I can go look at the info if you're interested in a powder.... I put mine in the smoothies that DD and I drink so I double the dose. It's the only thing I can put it in that's tolerable. It's a supergreen one so it's sort of like algae in other liquids. But mixed with coconut milk yogurt, banana, carrot juice, and ice, you can't even taste it (thankfully).

Could I puncture the capsules and add them to foods? If so, I think we could do without a powder.

I think my daughter has some yeast going on in her intestines due to an extended amount of time (14 days) on amoxicillin for an ear infection. I suspect that the ear infection is really just a dairy allergy symptom, so regret putting her on the antibiotic. She's covered in eczema now, diaretic, and not sleeping well--but the ear infection is gone. *sigh* My son is the one with a corn allergy. He's fine with dairy (THANK GOD!), but I figured he could benefit from probiotics, too.

Pro Bio Gold and Pro Culture Gold

I open the capsule and sprinkle on DD's applesauce.

That is great to know! I tried their probiotics for children, but they ended up containing corn. I didn't even think to look at the other varieties. Thanks

I haven't tried this, but am planning on it. It's dairy free, though not sure about corn.

I use Solgar Advanced Acidolphilus, got it at Whole Foods. They state, "free of sugar, salt, corn, yeast, wheat, soy, dairy products and gluten and are formulated without the use of artificial preservatives, flavors or colors." They are capsules, so you could probably just open them and use the powder.
