You think we had anything to do with this? VS has nursing bras - Page 3

I think every bra maker should START with nursing bras, and then add a line of "non-nursing bras" several years later. After all, they function just like ordinary bras if you leave the clips fastened.

I think nursing flaps on bras ought to be as ubiquitous as zipper flies on pants.

Good to know that I can order some sexy nursing bras online, but I know I never will until I can try them out in the store. In which case, I WILL be nursing in the fitting room, but not for privacy purposes!!

Answered my own question...

So I called VS and asked if they could give me a comparable bra to try on in the store.

The said that the Piped nursing full-coverage bra (nursing bra) is pretty close to the "Body by Victoria Infinity Edge Full Shaping Coverage Bra" Just thought I'd share. No guarantees of course...

The all-over lace nursing bra is identical to one I bought at Motherhood Maternity right after dd was born. VS has it in black though.

That's great! When I was nursing my first, I asked them if they had any plans to carry nursing bras, and they said, "Oh, you can nurse in our bras. Just pull them back. That's what we all do." Right, and risk getting mastitis.

For all of you who want to try one on before buying (and who wouldn't), you can order them from the website in whatever sizes seem likely, and then try them in the comfort of your own home, and return the ones that don't fit. I live out in the middle of nowhere, so I do that all the time (and yes, with VS bras, too). I never have problems except when I'm not timely.

Another way to bump breastfeeding toward mainstream minds. It's one good thing about VS!

I agree with the other posters that say I HATE my nursing bras. None of them fit right and since I"ve lost weight, the fit even worse. I've tried to buy different ones and only end up frustrated.

I seriously hope that this is a good starting point for VS and that they will offer some different colors at least in the future. I am allergic to lace so I couldn't wear any of the ones with lace which is all the colored ones except the leopard one. That one is okay, but not my favorite.

Does anyone know if there is a comparable bra in their stores that a person coudl try on for size before ordering? I truly don't know what size I"m supposed to be at this poitn and I won't order one without knowing because I hate to send things back.
I nursed Eva for 3 1/2 years and still going strong with Esme. Nursing bras never fit me, either. Really, I cannot even fathom that I am a single size, at least not consistantly. I wake up flat from night nursing, and by the time we're getting ready for lunch (and Esme's ready to nurse again), I have solid rocks for breasts. I always wear a tank top with the built in shelf bra. It's comfortable, layers well, and easy to nurse in a sling (just pop the boob over the top).
