Anyone else having a difficult time taking clo?
If so how do you get your dha etc?
I am 23 weeks today and still am gagging from it...blech....
Most vitamins are killing me!
I am considering the bee pollen. Does anyone know a good dose?

I went through a period like that at about that time, too. I stopped taking it altogether for a few weeks and then started again, and was fine after that. I eat canned wild caught Alaskan salmon once a week or so and also good quality eggs, which I think helps bridge the gap a little with the EFAs. Also flax meal and flax oil added to things, which I know isn't as good a source, but it's something.

I haven't done prenatal vitamins this time around, but when I was pregnant with dd I just couldn't get those suckers down to save my life. I took a children's chewable vitamin, I think I took two per day, just to make sure I had something (which I needed at the time; I feel like my nutrition is so much better now that I'm not worried about it).

I've been having this problem myself, so I switched to capsules. The oil in the capsules is slightly-lemon flavored, so I've been having fewer "fishy burps" too.

In the past, I've also tossed my CLO (along with my bee pollen and sometimes some CO) into a smoothie.

Congratulations, Amanda! When are you due, if you don't mind me asking? Sounds like we might be due right around the same time--I'm due the first of Dec. I go tomorrow to listen for the heartbeat, so hopefully it'll be there.

I'm only pushing ten weeks. We have the heart beat appointment after Memorial Day. I've actually felt fluttering which seems really crazy. I figure I have a baby or a bird.

Maybe you're having twins! I figure I might feel something in a week or two (12.5+ weeks) since I felt movement around 14.5 weeks with DD, but we'll see.

I think I'm imagining my fluttering...

LOL Serena. I have felt some strange things, but some definite "fluttering." I felt nothing with the first until I was 20+ weeks but my uterus was tilted. Unless I am totally imagining things, my guess is that the last pregnancy moved my uterus forward for good. My mom said she felt movement this early but I know it sounds nutty.

Thanks about the clo I think I am going to order some blue ice capsules....
Congrats Gale Force!
I felt flutterings early as well...
with my second I felt flutterings all the time...in fact I don't
think the child has ever stopped!
We call him the Bird.

Speaking of Blue Ice CLO... are there any special benefits to the fermented CLO?

I think there is a whole long thread about this somewhere....do a search....seems a bit too pricey for me at this point.
