Difference in mineral makeup brands? - Page 2

I use Jane Iredale and think it is fabulous. It is the only makeup I've used the nourishes my skin. It is not cheap but lasts well and feels great. Amazing coverage for something that feels so light.

I have Everyday Minerals. I ordered the free sample sizes from the website and paid shipping. That was a year ago and I still have some left. Granted, I almost never wear makeup. I like this Everyday Minerals though.

I just got some Jane Iredale and have been really happy with it. The quality seems excellent. I choose that company because it was one of the best rated in cosmeticdatabase.com. I've heard from several friends that Bare Eccueticals (sp?) makes them breakout or irritates their skin.

I'm going to be trying Mary Kay. Not sure exactly when, though.

I just started using Larenim b/c of the good rating on ewg/cosmetic database, but the coverage is not very good and kind of orangy. the mascara i am sending back b/c it barely does anything for my lashes. i do, however, love their eyecolors they are wonderful.

In a word: NO! They still contain all of the nasty and toxic ingredients that their regular make up has. The only reason these mainstream brands even have mineral make-up is b/c they know it's hot right now.

I use Everyday Minerals and it's wonderful!

I love mineral fusion. It's pure minerals with some natural antioxidants added. From what I can tell, the only synthetics are in their mascaras. But the mascara has no tar in it. http://www.mineralfusioncosmetics.com/default.aspx

Another Everyday Minerals (EM) vote! I found out about it here. The free sample kits are great for helping you find your foundation shade. They have a very active forum which can be really helpful, too.
